Rocking Out in the Radio Station

LOCATION: Arcadia Univ. Radio Station , Glenside

YEAR: 2007

This song was a staple on my old radio show. Almost every show my co-host Danielle and I would play the song, and get up and start rocking the f**k out to it. Oh yeah, and there were windows exposing our insanity to passersby. Good times indeed.

hmd1987 said: i agree with you here and there. i probably SHOULD change the title of my jam dealio to "When Mainstream Music Almost Died" or something similar. CURRENT MAJOR LABEL ARTISTS THAT ARE GOOD: Pearl Jam...sorta Coldplay - and yes, 'viva la mainstream' because I do want to see a lot more platinum artists that also happen to f***ing rock, though Chris Martin is obviously influenced by a lot of those bands that happened to be blogged about. Radiohead - oh wait, they're on an indie now. Kanye West and/or Jay-Z possibly? CURRENT MAJOR LABEL ARTISTS THAT SUCK: Trapt, Hinder, Disturbed, Korn, Kid Rock, Akon, Flo Rida, Puddle of Mudd, Crossover, Backstreet Boys..etc. Red Jump Suit Apparatus aren't on a major to my knowledge. So we'll lump them on to the following list.. GOOD CURRENT NON-MAJOR LABEL ARTISTS: Vampire Weekend, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, The Knife, Spiritualized....all of whom which deserved rave reviews from "blogosphere" since mainstream media is too distracted. I agree also with you how "uniqueness" doesn't count for being good - good music is indeed good music. I'll be damned if I'm going to watch some indie band play kitchen appliances just cuz pitchfork gave them a 9.5 (7/1/2008)
