Piano ManLOCATION: Grandmother's House , NashvilleYEAR: 1983TAGS: Journey, Don't Stop Believin'PUBLISHED: July 8, 2008My uncle was much younger than my father. He was from the era of Journey instead of the Beatles. I remember my grandmother had received a piano for Christmas and my uncle had taught himself to play the opening piano to this song. He spent several hours trying to get it down. My brother, who was 5 at the time, sat to the side watching. My brother decided to give it a try and within minutes was playing the opening piano to this song. My uncle couldn't believe it. He'd spent hours getting it right and this llittle boy had it in minutes. I always wondered how good my brother could have been had he stuck with it. Guess I'll never know.
