Does Knowing Make You Stronger?

I have learned a long time ago
that sometimes the very people you love the most
are the same people that could hurt you the most

I do not know what hurts the most
is it the fact that I already know or
is it the fact that I should have never known or
is it the fact that there is really nothing to know

Maybe I do not make sense
to a lot of people
but what I sense right now
is a certain kind of pain
from the very thing
that torments me right now

I may not know the truth
of what is really happening
but that is pain all in its self
the not knowing at all
but feeling it deep down and
at the same time not knowing
what to do about it.

Then again the question still remains, Will I ever know?

Im a big girl now and big girls dont cry. Is it always like that? We are not supposed to feel or show our emotions because it will give an impression that we are weak? It amazes me that sometimes we have to accept things for what they are and not what we want it to be. I guess I should talk about a memory right not, but I can't because it is not yet a memory...

I wrote the "some sort of a" poem above while listening to this song on the radio. I could almost hear some of you ask, "So what's the point already?" Well I just found out that someone is lying to me. I'm sorry I could not go into details, too personal I guess or maybe I'm just not ready. For all I know I could be wrong. I hope.
