The "Chime" arpeggio is so firmly burned into my musical consciousness, I practically have a rave inducing Pavlovian response when I hear it. As an aspiring DJ, I wanted to be like Orbital so bad. They were so freaking cool with their anonymous silhouettes and flashlight glasses, playing in front of what looked like a million E-ed up Brits at outrageously massive outdoor festivals.

pinkstuff said: I was there for their last ever live performance at Glastonbury 2004 and Chime was the highlight for me. If I remember correctly I ended up on the floor - well, mud - smiling up at the lazers and feelin so damn lucky to be there! (4/30/2008)
