Jays Games at the Ex

I'm so old, I can remember when Blue Jays games were still held in Exhibition Stadium. I remember my dad used to take me every so often and I loved it. I don't know if I even really understood the game when I was that young, but I definitely liked going. The thing I remember about the Ex was just how hot it was. No matter where you were sitting it seemed like the sun would just scorch you and, if I remember correctly, the seats were more like benches made of alluminum that were usually scorching by the time you arrived. I remember wearing the old light Blue Jays colors and having a real old Blue Jays hat that I used to wear all the time. I think I still have the pictures.

I remember when they first built the Skydome. I went there a lot more often as I got older and got a lot more interested in baseball. Especially around the time when the Jays won the world series back-to-back, but I always remember the times going to the Ex with my dad.
