There's no musician that inspires me more than Alejandro Escovedo. From the first time I saw him live in 1997 (with his band Buick McCane) to this day, whenever I need a lift I put on an Alejandro CD. I especially love the song Ballad of the Sun and the Moon. It's such a sweet song and it ranks as one of the best duets in rock music. The Spanish vocals are gorgeous and the lyrics touching. My hope is that Alejandro's health continues to improve and that he continues to grace us with music that can move mountains.
