Halle-loo-jahLOCATION: Pyramid Stage , Glastonbury FestivalTAGS: festival toiletsPUBLISHED: July 2, 2008Every year, Michael Eavis (and now his daughter Emily, too), seem to proclaim the most recentfestival as the best Glastonbury ever. Except for this year. Being the epitome of modesty,it wasmerely proclaimed to be a resounding success. Truth be told, Glastonbury is a great festival. I've never been to anything else like it and each time I've been, it has thrown up one or two new surprises. A realhighlight this year, was seeing Mr. Cohen perform. Okay, so he's only doing it because he owes $5 million or something, but it was great to see him nonetheless and man, does he have charisma. Seeing him perform my favourite songs of his - Suzanne and then Hallelujah - really was a "Hallelujah!" moment. But nothing came close as the feeling I had when I got home and was able toexperience a shower other than a precipitatious oneand have a dump sat on a proper toilet. Halle-bloody-lujah indeed!
