That's When I Knew

It was exactly one day before my birthday and my boyfriend and I were on our way to Panama City Beach to catch up on some much needed rest and relaxation.

We left early that morning, both very excited about the weekend vacation that lay before us. I remember a crisp freshness lingered in the air that morning, almost taunting us to get there quicker. The sun was out in full force. We were both singing out loud along with the radio, butchering each and every song that happened upon the radio. We were loving every minute!

It wasn't long before my throat started to get scratchy. When I started to fade out, my boyfriend changed the radio station. He loved classic rock, so I wasn't surprised when he changed the channel and Aerosmith came in through the speakers.

I looked over at him and smiled. He began singing again. This time in a much softer voice. As he sang the words "Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure." even in the softest voice he silenced Aerosmith. That's when I knew he was THE ONE.
