Sushi Dinner with Old Friends

LOCATION: Coco's Sushi , Houston

YEAR: 2008

TAGS: random, friends, tompetty, last dance with mary jane, sushi

PUBLISHED: April 4, 2008

While catching up with old High School friends, about old times and new. Friends who I haven't seen in forever and a day, since my days as my schools, "Laney Boggs." There was this guy, with scruffy dark hair playing his old acoustic guitar at the bar. He played very well and was playing various covers of well known songs. I think at first we didn't pay attention because we were so deep in our conversation. Until he got to the chorus. Then we all burst into song slowly at first. All of a sudden we were all singing along to the song. Everyone stopped talking at the tables around us and turned to listen to us. It was perfect... except the only thing missing is that the guy didn't have a harmonica for that one part of the song.
