Why This Album Matters...For MOJOLOCATION: The Courts , LAYEAR: 1989TAGS: PMRCPUBLISHED: March 27, 2008This album & song is what helped kick start Tipper Gore's crusade against Rock N Roll music. A chainsaw to the crotch? Apparantley a little too much for a bunch of senators wives to handle. Also the whole "F**k like a Beast" thing didn't help. This album cover was what was used as an example during the infamous PMRC hearings back in 1989. Thanks in part to this WASP album we still see the "explicit content" label on CD covers today. So MOJO, you actually picked a song and album that has a serious place in the modern history of Rock music and the music business in general! So...What do I win?
