So one of my all time favorite albums written to be played in synch with one of my all time favorite movies? I'm not so sure. Though the coincidences are quite cool, I was quite disappointed the first time I tried to get a glimpse,se of this phenomena. Pink Floyd has continued to deny anything other than strange coincidences in the running of Dark Side with the Wizard Of Oz.

What I did find though was something kind of cool. The Wizard Of Oz  can be considered one of the masterpieces of film history. The cinematography though, was completely ahead of it's time. Infact is still is. The Wizard Of Oz is just a gorgeous film to watch. The colors and backgrounds are just gorgeous.

Musically, the same can certainly be said about Dark Side Of The Moon. Definitely one the definitive rock albums of all times, it also is just one long beautiful composition. It only makes since that someone somewhere thought to put these two historic masterpieces of art and see what happens.

Maybe the whole thing about it purposely meant to play against The Wizard Of Oz. But if you've never taken a lazy Sunday afternoon to enjoy this entertaining piece of pop culture history, you must. And now you can do it right now while watching you tube.

I will this, it is truly enchanting.
