madeliaette | MEMORY FROM 1994 I want to belong.LOCATION: home , Elizabeth, South AustraliaTAGS: belongingPUBLISHED: April 25, 2008This song could be my target, if not my result. Everytime I start a new love relationship, I try to belong fully to my man, to be everything and do everything for them. They never seem to want me to, though. Maybe I am overly enthusiastic, definitely I am anti-feminist, perhaps I appear to be old fashioned, but to me, a relationship means that the woman lives for her man. To them, it would seem that I am overly devoted, obsessed, or crazy. I simply view relationships with forever eyes, not just the eyes of today's ways in today's world. In the past, when women belonged to their men, life seemed to work better than these days, where equality and feminism lead to a new form of partnership that makes me shudder. I still wish one was allowed to do everything for their man these days.
