when i was thirteen i had my first boyfriend, frank.  i would stand in the kitchen and talk to him on the phone for hours.  i remember one day after school we were talking for a long time and he played this song into the phone for me.  we sang along together - it was so intense and dramatic.  frank and i are still friends but i'm too embarrassed to ask him if he remembers that phone call. every time i hear this song i remember that night and being thirteen.
