More Than Tennis

When Tim and I met three years ago I was contemplating on several areas of my life; growing religiously, choosing the right career path, the possibility of buying a car among other things. Romantic love was the least of my worries. In fact, I was content being single without having to worry about the problems associated with being in love. One thing I had hated in my previous relationship was having to be overly self conscious about the way I dressed and my general appearance from head to toe. I enjoyed being single and having a diverse range of friends. I could always find someone to talk to irregardless of the aspect of my life concerned. 

On matters pertaining to health related, I knew I could always turn to Bronwyn, the aspiring doctor and when it came to dirty jokes Stephanie was first on my list. Tim and I met through a social club. He is such a gifted player and that is what I came to know and love about him. His zeal for tennis got us going and that is what he was to me at first- a tennis mate. Later, I discovered that we had so much more in common like our obsession for music and as time went by I became more consciously aware of his physically enticing features.

He has the most adorable smile and soft brown eyes. Plainly speaking he took my breath away, every joule of energy inside of me. It was only a matter of time before we fell deep in love. When our relationship became official, I began to understand the legendary story told by my late grandfather about a farmer digging up a well only to discover gold. ‘Oh Tim’, I uttered whilst we were having coffee a few months. ‘I did not know I was looking for love until I found you’. The song has left a profound impact on my life.
