Jerry Makes A Fool Of Himself!!

I was at my friends house over the weekend. She had come from having a huge argument with her boyfriend and she needed a shoulder to cry on. After pouring her heart out, I made her a hot cup of cocoa- everyone loved my special concoction!- which seemed to have healing powers. I was right it was just what she needed.

Jenna’s spirits were uplifted she was done sobbing- well at least for the day. We let loose and spent the day watching movies, sitcoms and snippets from our final school play. Before long we were roaring with laughter. Later on that day Jerry, Jenna’s boyfriend decided to stop over. I guess he spent the afternoon choosing the perfect song for a earnest apology. Jenna had decided that she would not see anyone, her phone had been switched off and Jerry was the last person she wanted to see.

While we were getting the drinks ready for the ordered cheesy, thick  meat delight pizza the intercom rang. I got hold of my shoes and ran for the French Door thinking it was the pizza guy. While I was by the veranda Jerry began to sing, ‘Glory of Love'. He thought I was Jenna. Great!! ‘Should I carry on walking or should I head back inside?’.  It did not seem like he would go away so I went to the gate hoping to tell him that Jenna would not see him.

How could I? He was dressed in a tuxedo smelling of everything exquisite. Will you at least not hear him out?- I ran and told Jenna. Honestly, the two of them could not stand being away from each other. They kissed and made up. Jerry had made such a fool of himself but as they say no gain without pain.
