Obviously there is a catch. The love birds have to be in it for the right reasons and the best relationships are built on the right foundations on trust, honesty and desire for growth. Tim and I have been together three years now. We have had our ups and downs but over the years our relationship has grown stronger and continues to bear copious fruits.
One of it well metaphorically speaking being the fruit of indulgence. Tim is always spoiling me, making me feel like the Queen herself. He has taken me out to dinner at the most chic restaurants from his meagre earnings, he has surprised me with all of life’s essentials from perfume to weekends outside the hustle and bustles of the city, where we have gone fishing and canoeing. But our outings have been limited because of the financial aspect. He is not the richest man in the world, I mean he does make enough money to get by which is just about it.
But like any normal gentleman he has dreams mainly when it comes to spoiling his girl. Given the resources he aspires to fly me on a plane to a destination of my choice, to have my adored musicians serenade me and to literally have the red carpet laid out for me where I go. But the best is yet to come. ‘One day’ he always says, ‘I wanna lay you down on a bed of roses’, inspired by Jon Bon Jovi’s album, 'Keep The Faith'. MMMMM maybe on our honeymoon!.
