I Just Love Latrol!

Our house is not very far off from an elite DVD Club known as Dalmor. This place has formed the heart of my movie watching for close to ten years. My family has no doubt contributed to its earnings which I presume to be excess. During the weekends and over the holidays infact whenever we can, my siblings and I head down to the video club for a variety of movies.

Afterwards we then make our way to the nearest shops for a couple of snacks; chocolate biscuits, tomato crisps, butter popcorn, salted peanuts and multi-flavoured ice-cream. This one time I was at home all by myself and I could not stand being lonely. Other than music the next best entertainment option was movies. So I decided to spend part of my day watching movies. I am mainly into Horror and Thriller movies such as 'Scary Movie'.

For weeks on end my schoolmates had been going on about ‘White Chicks’ produced by Keenen Ivory Wayans. ‘Oh it is so funny’, ‘you have got to watch it’, ‘Warner brothers are the best’ were some of the most common phrases linked to the 2003 production. I have always enjoyed ‘My Wife and Kids’ so I decided to give the latest ‘Warner' production a shot. I just loved Latrol, a tall rich black guy apparently head over hills with one of the ‘White Chicks’.

Although he was not necessarily the major actor, I liked him the most because he got into his character that of a classy, refined young gentleman. I particularly enjoyed the beach scene when he came out dressed in black swim wear ready to explore the warmth of the sun. ‘This Love’ was the background music to the scene, it has always reminded of him thereafter.
