Here's To The New Position!

Last year my boyfriend and I celebrated our third year together. Three years of wining and dining, playing golf, horse riding and exchanging gifts and poetry. On the not so rosy side were the three years of fighting, making up and at times breaking up temporarily. On the day of our anniversary in May we decided to take the day off.

The previous year we had spent the day practically at work which meant a whole eight hours gone. This time we wanted to capture every moment. We spent our day out of the city- at a lake. The place was ours most of the day as most people were at work except for the retired and those on who like us had been exempted from work.

It was such an enjoyable afternoon. Tim and I went on a boat ride along with three other couples before sitting for the scrumptious lunch prepared; spaghetti Bolognese and Yorkshire pudding as dessert-. Things could only get better and they did. Later, Timothy and I sat by the soft green grass and gazed into each others eyes while having chocolate milkshakes. Come night time the restaurant had something extra- music.

The music started off on a high rave note and became more romantic. This is the night was the first song played. We were both feeling lively. To add the icing on the cake the stage was ours before other patrons arrived. We danced the first few hours away in a way which said ‘I never want to let go’.
