Group Dates Are The Best

Every teenager has dated. I for one have been on numerous dates even though I was rather shy and reserved. When the concept was still Greek to me I sought valuable advise from trusted sources when I went on my first few dates. There was a common phenomenon passed from all the books I read, the programs I watched and the people I consulted that of group dates. I saw the logic behind going on group dates and so I gave it a shot.

I had been going out with this guy called Chris and three of my other friends, Daphne, Evelyn and Stella had boyfriends. I put forward the suggestion that we go on group dates which they enthusiastically agreed to. It was on a Friday night and we attended a rock concert. I loved dancing and so did Chris, in fact we all did and the function could not have come at a better time. I kept it simple and my friends came up with that, I am not a whore but I did not try too hard to look good either.

On arrival at the dance hall the six of us set for some drinks and had some light snacks. Initially, local music was played as the venue was strongly traditionally and true to Zimbabwean music. The local performers with the stage name ‘African Rhythms’ entertained us for close to five hours there were the best no doubt and every penny proved worth it. Later on, the hosts decided to spice up the atmosphere by playing something different. ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ was played at the right time when the moon had appeared and the six of us were ready to take the dance floor.
