Getting My Baby to Be Mine

I was a freshman in college when I really started to get into Michael Jackson, but I was always a fan.  Both "Off the Wall" and "Thriller" were in constant rotation on my CD player.  In an acting class, I met a woman who would become my girlfriend, and we went out.  Afterwards, we went back to her dorm room.  Knowing I was a singer, she asked me to hum her a romantic melody or two.  I did "Girlfriend" from "Off the Wall" briefly, but then switched over to "Baby Be Mine".  She didn't know it was Michael Jackson at first (it's not one of the better known "Thriller" tracks), but she loved it!
