SingalongsLOCATION: car , VIrginiaYEAR: 2004TAGS: riding in car, kidsPUBLISHED: February 26, 2008  This song brings me back to when I had custody of my niece. We’d go driving around in the car to her softball games, shopping, whatever.  I was in a band at the time, and being a single parent my time was scarce to learn songs. So I used the time in the car to play my CD’s and learn the songs. One of the songs was on a Shania Twain CD. Once I was done reviewing the song I need to learn, we were finally able to listen to the whole CD. We got to Man I Feel Like A Woman. My niece really liked this one, so every time we got in the car, she would cue that CD up and we’d go ahead and start singing along together. It was part of our routine. When we picked up her friend to go shopping at the mall, my niece decided to put that CD in and cue it up. And there we went, singing right along. Soon, it became a ritual when her friend joined us, too.  This will always remind me of spending time with my niece.  Â
