Sad, but true

It was a late weekday night and I was in the car with my Dad trying to get away from home because my Mom had yet again gotten in one of her upset moods. My parents have always played music in the car, so of course my Dad had the music on this time too. We were moving along silent except for the sound of music and "How's It Going To Be" came on.This was a perfect song for the moment. The next thing I know I looked over and my Dad was crying. I was really surprised, because at the time is was only 9 or 10 and if my Dad was crying then something was definitely wrong. This song was probably everything he was thinking about with my Mom,

"When I say out loud
I want to get out of this
I wonder is there anything
I'm going to miss
I wonder how it's going to be
When you don't know me
How's it going to be
When you're sure I'm not there
How's it going to be
When there's no one there to talk to
Between you and me

Cause I don't care how's it going to be
"

To this day every time I hear this song, I think about that moment.
