Interestingly enough, I discovered Woob through a phoned-in request for a radio show I was hosting on ktru at the time. I ended up meeting that caller, Carrie, in person, and I would see her from time to time over the next few years at raves before she moved away, to Chicago, I think. A lot changes in a short time, and nostalgia sometimes feels not so different than melancholy.
