Whether it was really greener over there, or more eye-appealing candy to look at, the eyes kept following my every move. The backyard was always buzzing with my brothers friends, their cars and their lady-friends they brought with them and the grass was always softest after a fresh mowing. All of the kids are sitting around, the two 21 year olds were drinking beer and not eating while everyone else just kept eating out of a bucket of KFC. Just a summer night in a safe neighborhood where they could feel comfortable and able to let loose some.

He drove into the next-door driveway. MASE was playing on the car stereo loudly and of course the neighbor couldn't help but look at what was all the commotion. None really, just a bunch of teenagers who saw me, the hosts older sister, come out of the house decked out ready to take on a night of networking, or something. A sharp whistle and a flash smile while I ask at the same time MASE does, you "looking at me" . . . he said "oh yeah" and that was the start of a really great thing.

"Why you always looking at me" had its pleasantries attached and the whys were answered with many arduous affectionate reasons that still bring a smile to my lips today every time I listen to the jams of the good ole' days.

We love you little brother Jesse. Thanks for bringing an eclectic nature to a rather dismal life for two lost people who found each others love in the eyes. It feels great knowing you are forever looking at us from wherever you are ! Rock on baby boy . . .
