Duet for Eternity

Many of the neighborhood visitors came to see what this guy at the end of our street had done to his house. It was different that is for sure because he hadgutted it and completely re-did the downstairs. Our community seemed wrapped up in other people projects in a good way, it made for appreciating what you had even better, cause your neighbors thought so too. After about fifteen people came and went and the weather was getting chillier, looked like rain was coming, me and chamelean (real name withheld for privacy), and the owners girlfrienddecided to stick around and down a few more shots, talkand listen to tunes.

The owner of the house had a guitar and was pretty liquored up by then and he was allowed since the final touches to the kitchen had been done and he needed a big break. He had been working on this for about a year and his girlfriend only started a few months ago decorating the livingroom which was still pretty bare. But the new paneling looked great and the soundsystem he had installed was phenomenal. The kitchen had a brand new stove and tile that sparkled, you could see it from where we were sitting in the dining room. Although therooms were designed to absorb the acoustics and not let them reverberate down the street, I was sure Icould hear this guys music in my room only six houses up the street.

It did not matter, this was clearly a celebration and the good times just kept flowing while the tunes were cranking. When the eagles started the riff for this tune,chamelean placed a finger under my chin, pecked a kiss on me and said "ready for the duet?" Eager to sing again and with him no less, chamelean andI made this tune sound fabulous. We echoed each others harmony and delivered a unique rendition of the hotel you can check into but never leave. It was romantic, fun and brought up often whenever we are riding around together and this song just happens to come on the radio . . .

The smiles and the adoration from each other was exceptionally bonding, it made for planting seeds of discovery in. Here was a compatible arena we were both excited to demonstrate our talent in, and we loved every beat realizing the garden of delight would come to fruition and we could reap its reward for eternity. To love and light and never checking out of the 'feeling' it brings !
