Compromise Is Not That Difficult

It may of been the bi-racial relationships of my past, or the present singlehood I finally saw in my distant horizons, that made me dig this song, but definitely compromise is what Live sang to me in this one. I was reaching for lyrics that helped explain some portion of the world gone wrong and this album has a few eye-openers. Gray is a shade of everything swirled together to the point of individual recognition of each thing is futile. But it is also a place in a communication that represents a pause of reasoning, a compromise.

There is effectiveness in being neutral also for it shows no competition. This song presents the world in simple terms of endearment, what is more likened and what is detested. In between there are variations of each and these should be embraced. A cultural milestone if you look at it for wiping out extremists and supremists, focusing on the middle-road the one travelled by just us nobodies . . .

I was moving back home, another failed relationship but mom and dad were always in my corner and they are still in my corner gleefully playing referree when the battle gets too personal. I compromised nothing by moving back home, I compromised everything for the family that took me in. I went to people who cared and left people who followed a facade. They were caring but only if there was something in it for them, parents and family, my two parents were better and more suitable for what needed to be accomplished. I need to learn how to live and appreciate life, without blinders on. LIVE did a great job opening that door from black and white to colorized sensationalism !  

I followed LIVE for many years following this simple introduction into the world of easy decision-making. The beauty of gray takes it all in and appreciates what we have without taking it or anything for granted. It also gives us a great middle road to forge that is a little of each side, the good side, to travel far away from the negative side and what a fantastic journey it has been thus far !
