I can't hear this song - or any Tiffany song - without remembering my Junior High best friend, Jennifer P.  Remember those round, plastic-bristled hair brushes?  Picture two teenage girls dancing around, each with a hair brush held microphone-style in her hand as they lip-synch or sing along with the cheesiest music the late-80s had to offer.  (Yes, I'm dating myself here.)

I absolutely wanted to be Tiffany when I grew up.  I wanted her hair, her voice, her career.  Now that I'm theoretically an adult, I still have none of the above, but I'm now okay with that.
