When it was my colleague Tori and I doing a joint interview, beyond the usual, routine questions and towards the end, especially if we liked the candidate we would ask with a smile, "And oh, do you like Rusted Root?" Now, there was only one real answer. Of course some people had no idea what a Rusted Root was... some said yes. And then we never spoke to them again. But the no's were our friend. I think we did it because we could. Maybe it was illegal. But it was a question of taste... and in our small, tight crew, taste mattered more than anything else. We already had one hippy in our midst.
