MySpace is my DealerLOCATION: Yet more time being killed at my desk... , LondonYEAR: 2007TAGS: New Music, CatchyPUBLISHED: April 5, 2008I'm a bit of a social networking whore. Whatever is the new craze I usually have an account, and use it lots for, well, um, a week or two - then I'm onto the next thing. Some sites however have their uses which means that I use them for longer; firstly there's Facebook with it's Scrabbulous application, and then there's MySpace which I still use for the music. I go through stages where I crave new music. It doesn't matter that there's 4,000 songs on my iTunes and probably the same again (or more) on CD, LP and MiniDisc (remember that?) - like an addict I always want more. MySpace is my dealer. I log on and just randomly follow links (ok, I admit it, I usally click on pretty girls pictures and then listen to the music they have on their profile) and this way I come across music I would never hear otherwise. It's a great, and free, way to broaden your musical horizons. Most of the time what I hear is rubbish. Every once in a while you get a gem, like this. Not only does Jesus have a cool name, but he's also got some suitbaly phat (and fit) MS friends. Shame all the rest of his music sounds nothing like (or is anywhere near as good,) as this. The song also featured in Grey's Anatomy - the scene which accompanied is pretty cool too... yet another example of a good show also having some pretty good music (see The OC, Scrubs et al for other good musical introductions)....

This is a catchy tune! First time hearing it for me. I have found some great...
Well I don't think I've ever watched the show (Grey's) - it just doesn''t do it for me. I always like Scrubs when I watch it, but I never go out of my way to see it. I'm going to go and MySpace your hubbie now... (4/5/2008)
