Whenever someone feels that theyre really in love with someone, theyll try anything to make things work out. The worst feeling one can have is that youve lost someone you love, and it was neither of your faults. This happened to me with the girl who ended up moving to Pennsylvania. Of course, like anyone, I tried everything to keep the relationship going. My bright idea was something Id promised Id never do: a long distance relationship.

Everything seemed fine at first. We even found our song which will always remind me of her until the day Im gone. Hey There Delilah seemed to match our situation perfectly. Sure, she wasnt 1000 miles away, only 800, and sure she wasnt in New York City, just northern Pennsylvania, but it seemed to fit.

We tried so hard to make it work. We stayed on the phone for hours every night and even started looking at engagement rings online. We of course had it all planned out. I would eventually make it to Pennsylvania. We would eventually make things work. Eventually turned out to be too long. As with many long distance relationships, we couldnt go so long without having someone to love in person. Things got harder, and after an argument, the talks of marriage stopped.

Of course the love we had still hasnt stopped. We still both hope that one day we find each other again. We just happened to discover that neither of us was strong enough to be away from each other.
