Ok, ok.

Ok, ok.  I am retarded.  I realize this last year when I was at Derrick, (my fiance)'s house and we were watching television.  This song, "Secret Agent Man" was playing on something and it got into my head.

Later in the night, I'm singing it to myself, walking around the house, minding my own business...when I look up and Derrick was staring at me.

"Are you doing that on purpose?"

"What?" I said.

"Oh my God, you are serious." He started laughing.

"What?!"  I said.

"Its agent, Colleen.  Not asian."

I couldn't believe it.  My whole life I have heard that song and SERIOUSlY thought it said "Secret Asian Man" and I sang it like that for 26 years.  I always wondered why they would right a song like that, but just blew it off.  I just pictured like this really mysterious karate guy, like a dark Mr. Miagee or something lurking around.  Yep.  Mmm hmm.

I felt so stupid.  I still do. 

Although,  I really do think that that would have been a funnier song.  But Oh, well. You learn something everyday.
