Billion Dollar Babies Eventually Go Broke...

LOCATION: Turning Stone Casino , Verona

YEAR: 2001

PUBLISHED: March 10, 2008

So, I worked at the Turning Stone Casino as a cocktail waitress for about five years.  They had a lot of shows there on and off and if an artist came worth watching, I tried to go.  Well, Alice Cooper was coming and my boyfriend was dying to see him.  So I was going to make it happen at all costs, and cost it did.

I spent 130 dollars on two tickets.

I took the night off of work, and lost about 150 dollars in pay.

I bought an outfit to wear which cost me about 50 bucks.

I bought drinks for us in the show and it our bill was about 25.

Then, we bought T-shirts and spent 50 more.

Then the next night I went back to work and Alice Cooper himself was playing slots in my section!  He ordered coffee from me and I ran accross the casino looking for the fanciest glass.  Got him a little plate.  Got him the fancy sugar...Brought him a little fancy saucer for his cream...

And he tipped me 50 cents.

Sigh....

Oh well.  Cheap he may be.  But talented he is for sure.

Anyways...I was warned.  No more mister nice guy for sure.

lol. I know. I should state though... that he actually was pretty nice. Very polite. And I think he was playing with his daughter... O well. I waited on James Brown and he gave me 5 bucks. Ya win sum... (3/11/2008)
