Tom's Big EyesLOCATION: Innsbrook After Hours , Richmond, VAYEAR: 2005TAGS: Tom PeterssonPUBLISHED: November 14, 2008It was during the song Big Eyes that Tom looked down onto the 1st row and saw his name on my license plate that I was holding. Thnx to some special CT friends, they'd saved me a seat in front of this legendary bassist! Tom asked, "Is that for ME?!" and I said, "Yes" and gave him my license plate, even though VA state law says I need 2 to drive my car. LOL Anyway, with a huge smile,he gave me his bass pick he'd just used to play the first 2 songs, and placed my license plate on his amp for the rest of the show. He took it with him when he left, but not before handing me another bass pick, complete with his favorite, Beatles, on it. That's my warm fuzzy wonderful Cheap Trick memory!
