Keep in mind I was 7.

That part always got me - Joe Perry soloing on the tracks and stepping off just before a freight train obliterates him.  Classic.

I remember that and how attentive I was to the video.

The colors, the environments, the characters (including the Connor kid from the Terminator, hehe).

Not to mention Steven Tyler's mouth that can swallow a VW Beetle.  Trust me, I've seen it happen.

The video also made me want to be like Steven Tyler.  I thought he was so cool the way he commanded the microphone and his stage moves were pretty out there too.  Of course I didn't think in those words at that age, but that's how I felt.

So back to the train scene...

My cousins visiting from Ecuador were watching the video on MTV (back when they played music all day) with me and my brother.    Of course we were all naive, so when the train barreled past Joe Perry, just brushing his ankles as he stepped off the track, we let out some, "did you see how close that was?" comments.

I miss being naive.
