The Turtles

The Turtles' beginnings found them as a folk-rock combo before they repositioned themselves as a pure pop-rock band. The band was fronted by two unlikely looking stars, Flo and Eddie (Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman), whose voices could soar with an ease that made for a series of big hits in the '60s.
