About this Artist
Glen CampbellGlen Campbell had already enjoyed success as a session guitarist and surrogate member of the Beach Boys when he scored his first big hit, "Gentle On My Mind," in 1967. In the following few years Campbell climbed the country and pop charts with a number of Jimmy Webb compositions, among them "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" and "Wichita Lineman." His career hit a second peak in the '70s, thanks in large part to the hit "Rhinestone Cowboy." In the '80s Campbell recorded a number of gospel albums as well. Definitive Albums
